The day has been long, but the Lord lasted longer
Than any struggle or trial I faced.
For ev’ry moment He gave me His mercy
Each situation was blessed by His grace.
For He is my strength, and I trust in Him only.
He ev’ry burden so lovingly bears
And so, I rejoice in His life everlasting
O, how great it is to know that Jesus cares!
